Bas Haring

Sebastiaan (Bas) Haring is a Dutch philosopher, children's book author, as well as a lecturer at Leiden University where he holds a chair for "public understanding of science". Haring aims at making science more accessible for a general public, and to train scientists in doing the same. He writes popular science books and columns in national papers, hosted his own philosophical TV-program, and initiated the Media Technology MSc program.
