on-signal

on-signal is Arjan Scherpenisse and Eelco Wagenaar.

Arjan Scherpenisse and Eelco Wagenaar both have a technical background, Arjan on the software side, Eelco on the hardware side. They combine this with an interest in arts (and making art).

They met each other at the DOGtime from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, where they studied Unstable Media/Interactive Design.

Their focus lies in many cases on the connection of virtual with physical. They think it's an interesting area where there is still a lot to explore. So an ideal playground for new ideas and concepts.

They are into all the latest stuff like modding wii-mote’s, hacking iPod touch programs, soldering, playing and repurposing toys, interactive pingpong installations, and the like.

on-signal took part in the V2_ Test_Lab: goes Noordkaap on October 30, 2008 at the Noordkaap Foundation.
