Strafe für Rebellion (Punishment for Rebellion), later known as Strafe F.R. or even S.F.R., started in 1979 and consists of the duo Bernd Kastner and Siegfried Michail Syniuga. They make abstract instrumental music using home-made instruments, found objects and field recordings. They released over ten albums before dissolving in the mid 90s.

The artists behind S.F.R. are also known for their sculptural work, Syniuga for his steel sculptures and Kastner for his installations. Together, they presented an installation at the 3Dimension Expo held at V2 in 1985.
