Alessandro del Gallo
Born in the country near Rome, Alessandro learned early on to use tractors, to milk cows, and shepherd the family animals. A growing interest in electronics and mechanics helped fix the farm equipment. At fourteen years, and when he started going to parties, he became djGallo. That led Alessandro to work then for as Cameraman and with Graphics for Italian TV.
Having worked as freelance computer technician in Italy to survive, Alessandro moved to Barcelona where he worked for the EGEE project (=Enabling Grids for E-sciencE) at the University.
Datastorage is his speciality, and a growing archive is the result of what his eyes capture, or his real and virtual interests show him.
In 2004, he decided to take part in saving the world, and switched his car for a bike. With his bike, Alessandro likes to travel all over the world.
