Anne-Mie van Kerckhoven
Anne-Mie van Kerckhoven alias AMVK (BE) is a multimedia-artist and painter.

Anne-Mie van Kerckhoven (1951-) has been displaying her drawings, paintings, installation, film animations and interactive work since 1975. In 1982 she founded performance-group and venue Club Moral, together with artist and partner Danny Devos.
In the beginning of the 1980s she developed a fascination for the way the brain works and how the origin of language is reinforced. In this context she explored the domain of the subconscious and she situated herself in a tradition where science and art meet: Since 1974 I have made drawings from my subconscious. I always refused to find logical meaning behind the apparent mind maps. I rarely had the chance to show them – no art-world interest. I never stopped making them. All the years, mingled together, give an overview of a certain evolution going on in my brain. Now I am archiving them: thirty years of automatic drawing.
Annemie participated in 3Dimension Expo (1985), Manifest(o exhibition) (1987), Manifest voor de Instabiele Media I (1988), and in other events as Club Moral.
