Bogomir Doringer states, "I started using fashion as a social/political critique on the society I grew up in. I use public space as my studio from where I find forms, mistakes, distorted perspectives, all of which shape my views to create a line. One of the reasons why I love working with fashion, is the everlasting exhibition in a public space. As part of my art and fashion career I integrate current affairs regarding immigration, media and my background as a Serbian male, by mediums such as, video, photography, runway, make-up, etc., This use of these different art forms, can be interpreted as a campaign."
