Daniël Ockeloen works for the crossmedia compagny Submarine, which he cofounded with Femke Wolting and Bruno Felix in January 2000. He used to work as an IT-expert at the Dutch VPRO broadcasting. In 1997, he was responsible, together with Rico Jansen, for the design and implementation of the MMBase content management system. In 1999 he prepared MMBase for Open Source, which was completed by the VPRO in April 2000. Daniël is still involved in MMBase as a developer and as member of the MMC (MMBase management Committee).
