Felix Hess (NL) is an artist.

Felix Hess builds small audio machines, like the "Moving Sound Creatures" and "How light is changed into music". His work is exemplary for the development of semi-autonomous sound machines. Felix Hess has been active in this field for almost 20 years and has exhibited his work all over the world.

Felix Hess is the creator of Kozebotaru (Wind-vuurvlieg), and of the sound installation Papegaaien. He participated in the book Book for the Electronic Arts. He is a participant of the program Artificial Life: The First Day (1994), the program Wiretap 3.09 (1997) Image and Sound Machines.
