Gisèle Trudel received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1984 and is an independent director since 1985.

Trudel works as a freelance video editor, digital compositing artist, website designer, and was acting as Coordinator of the new media lab of OBORO, as well workshop instructor at Group Intervention Video. She is very active in the national and provincial network of artist-run centers and has been invited for presentations, artist talks, exhibitions and screenings in universities, galleries internationally.

Gisèle Trudel is a media artist and Professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal Montréal and member of Hexagram, Institute for Research/Creation in Media Arts and Technologies.
