Kasper Toeplitz was born in Poland and is currently based in France. He has worked in the area between music composed on paper and realized directly electrically. His compositions include works for symphony orchestras, orchestras of electric guitars, and contemporary dance. He produces music made of long waves of sound clashing against each other, rich in sonic overflow and long silences. He has had residencies to realize his work in Japan and the U.S.
