Martijn de Waal

Martijn de Waal is a writer, researcher, curator and advisor based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His main area of interest is digital media and society.

Currently he is working on his dissertation in philosophy with prof. Rene Boomekens; and teaches new media theory at the University of Amsterdam.

He is a member of the board of the Dutch Cultural Broadcasting Fund, which aims to fund cultural radio and television as well as digital cultural products.
