Maurizio Lazzarato is a Paris-based sociologist, a member of the editorial group of the journal Multitudes and the author of the influential essay Immaterial labour (1996, in book form 1997). He is the author of Puissances de l'invention. La psychologie économique de Gabriel Tarde contre l'économie politique (2002) and of Videofilosofia, percezione e lavoro nel post-fordisme (1997). Lazzarato worked with Knowbotic Research in relation with V2_ on the project IO_Dencies, lavoro immateriale.
