Peter Lamborn Wilson is a traveler who, influenced by non-western philosophers, has produced a wide variety of publications since the late Sixties. He has translated classical texts from Islam, Sufism and Persian poetry.
As Hakim Bey he has created completely new insights into autonomy and chaos (Temporary Autonomous Zone) and has initiated fresh discussions on media, raves, conspiracy theories, the Mafia, archetypes and virtual warfare. He is also an editor with the publishing company Autonomedia.
