Siebe Thissen is curator and advisor art in public space at the CBK Rotterdam, and guest lecturer at the Willem de Kooning Academy. Thissen was a researcher and lecturer at the Philosophical faculty of the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the area of History of Dutch thinking. He wrote his promotion in History of Philosophy on "De spinozisten. Wijsgerige beweging in Nederland 1850-1907". Also, until 2000, he was editor of the audio journal Not Fussed!, focused on music, popculture, underground and avantgarde, and co-editor of the Flemish-Dutch culture-political magazine Mba Kajere.
