Tarik Barri

Tarik Barri (NL) is an audiovisual composer.

As a student of music technology, Tarik Barri discovered how well the methods he was using in his music could be adapted for the moving image. Through revolutionary new audiovisual composition methods realized with self-made computer software, Tarik aims to discover new synergies and aesthetics in the combination of image and sound. In all Tarik’s artworks, image and sound are connected in an inextricable way: the viewer hears images and sees sounds. As part of the Summer Sessions 2009, Tarik Barri was working on Augmented Reality as an artist in residence at V2_ Lab, developing the work II.
