Tom Nagae (JP) is a creative director and producer.

Born 1964. Has produced numerous TV programs in Tokyo and New York, including the launch of Digista, BITWORLD, and Shakiin! on NHK. Went independent from Telecom Staff in 2004, and established Tokyo-based media production company DIRECTIONS, Inc. Creates new opportunities for emerging visual creators, including the animation episodes for Hoshi Shinichi's Short Shorts, which won an International Emmy Award in 2009. BITWORLD earned the Best Interactive Award at the Banff World Television Festival 2009, and i3DG was honored with an Honorary Mention at 2010 Prix Ars Electronica.
