Papegaaien

Felix Hess: Papegaaien (detail)

The installation Papegaaien (Parrots) consists of a group of devices that look like loudspeakers. They listen to their environment, store fragments of sound and reproduce these fragments every now and then. This creates a sound sculpture defined by the public and the acoustics of the space.
