Publicity Plant

"Publicity Plant" (2009) by Sander Veenhof converts online activity into plant growth.

Publicity Plant

Publicity Plant

The Publicity Plant project is growing a bouquet of flowers for Veenhof's graduation with the help of web2.0. A greenhouse control system converts all online publicity on this project into growth by switching on the grow-lights anytime a google search for "Sander Veenhof" is done, or a blog about the project/Sander Veenhof is posted. Also Twittering about the #Publicityplant, uploading a picture on Flickr or adding a bookmark about the "Publicityplant" project will make the plants grow. Will the plant make it before July 9?

Hint: it did not make it to July 9th, but congratulated Veenhof on his graduation from the Gerrit Rietveld art academy on July 1st.
