Purgatory
Purgatory is a film by Michael Frank.
A girl awakes in a deserted hospital. She is witness to an unsuccessful attempt at resuscitation of an accident victim and makes a shocking discovery. This film performs the loop of consciousness between life and death both as to the contencts and to the form. It works without a single cut and is played backwards. This life-after-death frightener has received 18 prizes, including best film and best experimental film at the Canadian International Film festival.
