Film Night (Night of Nature)
A ten hour theme-based film program, shown during DEAF94 in the Lantaren/Venster complex.

During the Film Event of Generated Nature a very diverse offering from film history, supplemented with more recent productions - films made for television and/or scientific or educational purposes - were shown. Not only in Venster 1, 2, 3, 4 screening rooms, but in the whole Lantaren/Venster complex a new nature was be generated: at 0100hrs the Dutch ambient-techno band Sensurreal (DirkJan Hanegraaf, GertJan Bijl) played in Lantaren/Venster 1, computers with varied "natural" CD-ROM productions were installed throughout the building and WillemHein Triemstra and Paul de Gooijer's Rudolf II installation - from the HKU BMT department - was shown. The choice for the productions in the Film Event was based on a number of themes.
(Archival note: the information on the DEAF94 flyer and in the old digital V2_archive differs considerably. The flyer mentions a 'Night of Nature', a ten hour film program, whereas the digital archive mentions different film programs contained in the 'Film Event of Generated Nature').
