Rotterdam Stroomt!
A workshop on "streaming media" and "live streaming" by V2_ and ArchiNed.

There are still very few cultural organisations which are familiar or use streaming media (i.e. live broadcasting of public events via internet) even though streaming media offers interesting possibilities for reaching different and more public. V2_ together with the online architecture platform ArchiNed have therefore taken the initiative to start the project Rotterdam Stroomt, in which cultural organisations in Rotterdam can get acquainted with the different types of streaming media.
The project is opened on the 17th of January with a workshop where the organisations will receive a basic lesson in streaming. A team of V2_ and ArchiNed will then pick around 10 different organisations and/or events and introduce them to (live) streaming.
Rotterdam Stroomt is funded by the Rotterdamse Kunststichting and is technically backed-up by the Gigaport project.
