Developed during V2_'s Summer Sessions, new works by artists-in-residence Melissa Coleman, Tarik Barri, and David de Buyser, who respectively developed projects in the fields of augmented reality, wearable technology, and interactive organic environments, where presented at Ars Electronica 2009.
Taking place at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, with opening presentations by Michel van Dartel and Boris Debackere
and the artists Tarik Barri, Melissa Coleman and David Debuyser
in front of a large, interested audience.
David Debuyser showed Vertical Irrigation System - second variation;
Melissa Coleman her three pieced Media Vintage;
Tarik Barri demonstrated II, which really needs to be experienced.
After a discussion with the artists, a general Q&A; the Robot Cowboy Performance by Dan Wilcox.
Overall, it was great presentation, and interested audience ++ many thanks to a most kind and helpful AEC production crew.
