Two Artvertiser Binoculars Produced
Together with artist Julian Oliver developers at V2_Lab created two copies of the Artvertiser binoculars. The design of the binoculars was completely refreshed by Zjenja Doubrovski in a co-production with iMAL Brussels.

The Artvertiser is an urban, hand-held Augmented Reality Improved Reality project that re-purposes street advertisements as a surface for exhibiting art. The project was initiated by Julian Oliver in February 2008 and is being developed in collaboration with Damian Stewart.
The binoculars provide a personalized perspective on the world, hence only one person at a time can use them. In order for more people to enjoy the work, V2_ and iMAL Center for Digital Cultures and Technology co-produced two extra binoculars. A major part of this production was the redesign of the CAD model of the casing, by industrial designer Zjenja Doubrovski.
